Sounds like Indie Punk Rock, kinda Weezer-esque. Guitars sound decent, have that garage sound. Vocals are not overly processed. Maybe could have used a little reverb but not bad. Lyrics, yeah I won't comment lol. I listened to it twice. Leads are cool, gives me that early 90's vibe. Fun song.

guyfromKillerRAT responds:

The lyrics weren't meant to be super tasteful lol, just something to laugh at. Weezer is definitely one of my favourite bands so it would make sense that people hear that in my music. Thanks for the review!

90s music is my favourite era of music

seems very minimal but I have to see where it goes. I'm not hearing the industrial part. sounds more like lofi cinematic, as there is not much structure and a lot of meandering. I feel like it's missing something, like maybe a bass track would have been nice to anchor the song. We have some percussion late in the game but not much. This sounds more like an improv composition than anything else. Not that improv is bad, it could be very good, but like I said not much structure, could have used more instrumentation like bass or pads to give it more depth.

Thank you! I forgot to fix the genre, also this is my 7th song, so you'd expect some bad mixing.

Favorite part is at 2:21. Good beats and instrumentals. Mix isn't perfect but passable, the bass drum is overpowering at times. I like the atmospheric breakdowns as well. Well, who am I to ruin your perfect score? 4.5/5 but I'll round up

Aster responds:

It took you 4 months wow.

Sounds out of key from gate. I don't know if that's intentional, but it's a little rough on the ears. I don't really feel the depressing vibe, more like an "I feel sick" vibe. Just so happens I'm battling nausea as I review this song. I'm sorry but I just can't get into this one.

BlueTuxedo responds:

Oh, I thought this thread was dead! Well, this is one of my oldest songs so it's not the best. But overtime I have improved! My newest songs sound much better.

OK. You've got a good rap voice. I really love the chill melody and beat. Great vibes here. How did you not get scouted? Oh I checked your profile. I would scout you but you need to gain more cred first. You've only got one post here at NG and it's in my thread. Sorry dude. Hang around the forums, review others, make friends and if nobody else scouts you I will. Your song though, aces.

MICOnTheMIC responds:

Hey man sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but like you said my online presence isn't very significant at the moment. I haven't been able to focus on music as much as I'd like to and didn't expect so see a comment like this one. My buddy actually told me I had a comment on my channel. He was the one who recommended I post it here, so he ends up checking it more than I do.
With the apology out of the way thanks a lot for listening to my song and for the stellar comment, I am flattered. I also have 3 more finished songs I haven't posted here, if you're interested. After this comment I might just post them.

Wow, the intro synth is beautiful. I love the drum beat. Bass is really cool. 1:46 seems like a different song altogether, transition is a little nonexistent. I hear some new synths when it goes back to the main. Everything here sounds tight. Not too sure I like the lead synth much but it's just my personal taste. Really like the rhythms that come in towards the end. Ending could have been stretched another bar but otherwise good work.

Drakensson responds:

Thank you Glenn. Always nice to hear your usual analytical and detailed feedback.
Much appreciated. Sorry for my late response

I like the mood the beginning sets. The second instrument is nice. When the horns come in to bring it all together it really thrives. But it ends so soon? Seems like an intro to something more grand. Overall I like the melodies, it sounds like it was played rather than sequenced am I correct? Nice job. Just want to hear more.

FanGuy26 responds:

Thanks Cyan. Really appreciate it. And yes I might do more instrumentals like this, also soon adding some guitar noises and string plucks. HUGE THANKS AGAIN.

ahh the finale. I'm really liking how chill this sounds, nice drums too. Again one synth (the lead) is very loud and stands out too much. but composition-wise this is great and a worthy closing to your album.

GlaceonDash responds:

Yeowch! Oh well, I'll keep that in note for my next project.

there's one synth that kinda hurts my ears, you might want to adjust the volume on that one. I like the composition here though, actually it's quite good.

GlaceonDash responds:

Very out of tune stuff :)

a somber melody, right up my alley. good tone painting here.

GlaceonDash responds:

:) Fun to see
